The Food Contact Committee is open to all containerboard producers. It is chaired by Eric Savary (Smurfit Kappa).  Its aim is to assure the monitoring of the regulation and the evolution of the standards, the practices and the recommendation concerning paper and board intended to come into contact with foodstuff, including hygiene, to draw up specialised studies in this field, to inform members, to assure the connexion with the Food Contact Group from CEPI taking into account the inclusion of the analysis and positions of Cepi ContainerBoard. This working group used to meet thre times a year, after the CEPI Food Contact Group and releases three food contact synthesis notes a year.
